08 Jan 2002:
------------
There is only about 6 mins of data in the archive and tapes,
from 18:44 to 18:50 UT even though there should be more.
For these 4 mins the Tx seems to be down for cp4bv@vhf No useful data to analyse.
09 Jan 2002:
------------
Tx down for tau2at_cp1 data from 19:40 to 19:43 and cp1lt data from 19:30 to 19:31
01 Feb 2002:
------------
tau3 had a timing error until about 1237 UT
After that the data is OK.
HV or power monitoring mot working for tau1avsingle@vhf.
Need to use Roger's log.
16 Feb 2002:
------------
arc1 for UHF. About 2-3 hours of data.
tests of a new arc experiment arc_low_EI
See notes in e-log for this day.
Not analysable with standard arc, arc1 initialisations
or with forcing tsys const.
Note that loaded raw data file in Matlab shows:
d_data = 31210 x 1 499360 double array, complex
whereas arc1-u from 5 Nov 2002 shows:
d_data = 56146 x 1 898336 double array, complex

tau1av@vhf had an error between 00:50 and 01:05. OK before and after.

Tx down for arc-dlayer-v data
Only 2 mins of data here /data/arc_dlayer-v@vhf/20020227_18 and _19
28 Feb 2002:
------------
Tx down for cp1lt data
04 Mar 2002:

tau1avsingle was run.
But was the receiver in single beam configuration ?
I think not judging by the poor calibration with dynasonde.
See also note in e-log from 9 March.
09 March 2002
-------------
The tau1avsingle exp from 06:00 UT until
seems to have a timing problem n the radar controllers and
cannot be analysed. After 12:00 UT the problem was fixed.
11:51:23 UT Saturday 9 March 2002, Mike R. on 129.242.31.71
VHF receiver in 2 beam mode changed 11:51 UT to single antenna
16 Mar 2002:
-----------
Tx down for tau2at_cp1_Pbie_UK data
11 June 2002:
-------------
tau2at: No transmitter power before 10:07 UT, cofirmed by RTG.
But power shown as zero
29 Jun 2002:

Tx down for cp1lt_and_NO and dlayer-v data
02-05 Jul 2002:
------------
Tx down for cp1lt_and_NO and tau2at_cp1 data
Confirmed using rtg that tau2at on 4 July
showed no signal- MTR
04 Jul 2002:

Tx down for tau1av data
17 and 18 July 2002:

The tau1avsingel experiment is useless because of
a radar-controller synchronisation error.

Note about arc_dlayer-v in June and July 2002:
The dumpsizes are:
20020604 data: 147061 kB
20020722 to 27: 155605 kB
compare with an analysable arcd from May 2003:
20030531 data: 345717 kB
Note also that an arc_dlayeru from 2005 has a size:
348093 kB

13 and 14 Aug 2002:

The tau3 needs special analysis to account for antenna
position not being recorded propoerly at times.
13, 14 and 15 Aug 2002
------------
Tx down for tau1av@vhf data
04 Sep 2002:
------------
The short bit of tau2 data between 12:40 and 12;55 UT looks strange:
Too high a density by a factor of 5 and Tsys about 700K.
Analysed data not put in Madrigal
Tx down around 14:50 for tau2t_pl data
02 Oct 2002
-----------
tau1a: No signal in both receiver halves. Tsys=220K for vhfa
and Tsys=140 K for vhfb ! So receiver b was not connected to
an antenna. So either receiver A was connected to the whole
antenna (half boresight and half phased) or to one of the halves.
If the phased half (B) were connected and we are transmitting on
only one klystron on A half then we would get no signal.
In any case the data is useless.

----------
cp4bv:
Same satellites seen in both halves of cp4bv.
08 Oct 2002
-----------
tau1a: The short bit of tau1a data from 16:13 to 16:28 UT doesn't look
good.
03-04 Nov 2002:
---------------
Tx down for arc1-u data
05 Nov 2002:
-----------
arc1-u would not anlayse: Tsys is off range
But data in RTG looks OK (spectra)
Analysed by forcing Tsys=110. MTR-20050512.
-------------------------------------------------
From 08-18 Nov 2002 the dynasonde was not working,
so no calibration files available.
--------------------------------------------------
09 Nov 2002:
-----------
the arc2 program from 00:38 to 01:00 cannot be analysed.
Attempted using DSP= arc and arc1 but not fit. No idea whether
program is analysable.
According tp Assar it can only be test data that is useless.
16 Nov 2002:
-----------
The same applies to the arc2 data here from 04:00 to 04:25 UT
as to the data from 9 Nov 2002.
26 Nov 2002:
-----------
The short bit of tau3 data recorded on 26 Nov 2002 between
09:02 and 09:07 looks to be useless.
